You’re getting married – Congratulations!
Here at Fox & Kit it is no surprise that we loved planning our weddings, enjoying making sure every detail was memorable and meaningful. We have also fallen in love with so many of the special touches we have seen at the weddings of friends and family; it’s all in the details and the more unique the better!
So when it comes to adding personalised touches, we have come up with our top tips to ensure you and your fiancé’s personalities shine through your very special day.
A quirky table plan
A table plan alongside imaginative table names can add a big dose of personality to your wedding. How about naming each table after favourite songs (displayed on records), places you have both loved (displayed on a map) or maybe you have a favourite tipple? Add labels displaying guest’s names for each table on bottles and add fairy lights!
Go for favours that are memorable and include a message that adds humour. How about sparklers that all guests light at the same time and add the message ‘Wave in the air like you just don’t care!’ Fantastic photos guaranteed! We have also seen sachets of mulled wine spices, personalised CDs and packets of seeds.
A personal guestbook
Think of a special alternative that will help you remember your day and everyone there with a smile. Ask guests to take Polaroid photographs of each other holding an empty picture frame and to write a message for you on the back. Perhaps ask them to sign a bench that will go in your garden or give out postcards of places that mean something to you both and ask guests to write messages on the back.
A special send off!
When waving goodbye to your guests, do it in style. How about a sports car, a tractor or even a boat!
Thoughtful thank you gifts
Such an important part of your day will be saying thank you to your loved ones. Flowers and a bottle of bubbly will be gratefully received but for a gift that is unique and looks stunning, why not give a Fox & Kit gift box to your Mum, Mother-in-law or bridesmaid. We have choices which will suit every personality but how about these options?
